Went up to Waipu Cove - 1hr 45mins North of Auckland. All I do here is wake up; eat breakfast; go for a surf; eact lunch; chill out and digest; go for another surf; eat dinner; watch movie and go to sleep and then start all over again in the morning. I feel like i’m just living the life of a homeless bum (apart from the homeless part) lol ;) 

I seemed to have hardwired my brain to just not even think about relaxing so It’s been a hard transition into a holiday life, but a few days into it now, I’m totally lovin it. I’m still thinking about work, and feel rather unproductive, but catching a wave makes me leave all that behind. So with that, i’m off to catch another wave (hopefully)..

Hey saw that turtles rock your world and well just for your info I love turtless more than anyone else in the world. I scream when I see a turtle or even a picture of one do you? You may think i’m crazy and that answer is yes I am crazy about turtles because I LOVE TURTLES. Please don’t email me back with your crap and beside I gave you the wrong email.

AHAHAHA I just couldn’t stop lauging for so long after I read this - it still cracks me up. Whoever ever you are anonymous person thanks for taking the time out to let me know how much you LOVE turtles. I can’t say I scream when I see a turtle or even a picture of a turtle but good for you!! But i’m sorry but I think turtles rock way more than you do, so there..! kidding lol Thanks for the dropping the comment again fellow turtle lover.

Why the heck is it that we always want what we don’t have?! Or is it just me? Maybe too much of a good thing can also be a bad thing in large doses. Just like medicine. Apparently all most medicine is toxic to some extent so even though it fixes you up when you’re down, have too much and BAM! You’ll be down for the count! =P Anyhow I just want some freakin sunshine yo. My Vitamin D levels are at an all time low and another week at this rate who knows how that might affect me! (Yes i’m really self centered at times ) Wonder if there is such a thing as a “Sundance”?

Hope you have a better week to look forward to than I. This is whats in store for me (pic below). The sun seems to show itself just enough to get your hopes an and the crashing back down as it starts pouring down again (according to the forecast anyway). I’m all for staying home watching a DVD kind of weather but it’s almost been over a week now and I’ve run of movies that I’d like to watch and also exhausted my funds for spending $$ on movie hires.. can it get anymore tragic! LOL ^_^

I open my car door and throw both my bags onto the passenger seat insert the keys and turn the ignition and the sound I heard went something like this - “tick tick”. Yes that was the aweful sound of a car’s battery being dead. What a nightmare. I didn’t have jumper cables, wasn’t an AA member or the only person I asked that could have helped couldn’t at the time (or didn’t - so sad).

My car was parked on a street with an ever so slight incline, enough to get my car moving about as fast as a snail. The street that I was parked in was a one way street 5 lanes across excluding the parking lanes on either side of the street. Morning rush hour traffic, I knew as soon as I would step out into the lane I would get hear a symphony of horns expressing their owners anger at my car blocking up a whole lane. I was able to get a decent enough gap though and so I went out into the lane with a slight push and tried to push start my car - all that did was slowed my car down almost to a stop at which point I pulled over into an empty car park again. At this point my moral was almost at a rock bottom.

The incline of the street turned into an uphill incline. I was right next to a set of traffic lights. All hope seemed lost. As I pressed my forehead against the steering wheel, clutching the steering wheels with both my hands, and looked to my left I saw light. Yes it was across 5 lanes of rush hour traffic, pedestrian crossings, and traffic lights - a down hill road by the name of Wellesley street.

While I was contemplating how embarassing it might be to get stuck between the 5 lanes or in the middle of the intersection or run someone a pedestrian over while I’m pushing my car I noticed that traffic was easing of enough for me to push my car across and over to the down hill. But I had to co-ordinate this timing with the traffic lights if I was going to make it.

After an dangerous, adventurous sprint across the 5 lanes with steering wheel in one hand and the car chassis in the other I made it across to the down hill jumped into my car while still moving and - “VRROOOM VROOOM VROOM” my car just came to life as I tried another jump start.

And me and my car lived happily ever after! THE END

Got my first comment on my article on code project today =) I’m so stolked. The number of views my article is getting is going up by the minute. That’s gotta be good right?!? I emailed someone at codeproject and apparently my article was set to be invisible all this time to general public. Now it’s so fun wathcing the number of views go up. It’s a shame the first comment wasn’t… all that positive. The commenter claimed by program isn’t even working =O !! He just wasn’t using my program properly I believe. Anyhow I replied with some instructions within 20 minutes and told him to let me know how it goes.

Eek! The lid on my stove pot looks like it’s about to erupt!!!! Gotta go!
